Why Imam? 'Our Mission'

The institution aims to offer high-quality educational courses and specialised training to develop the skills of imams, mosque managers, and directors of Islamic centres. It seeks to elevate the academic level of imams in minority countries and prepare them for da'wah. Additionally, it aims to foster communication and coordination between imams in different countries, encourage the exchange of experiences, and promote dialogue between religions and communities.

The Institution's objectives include honing and refining the skills of imams through various educational and training courses and workshops, developing the managerial and leadership skills of mosques and Islamic centres, and transforming ad-hoc da'wah into organised institutional work. The Institution focuses on Muslim minorities by selecting and nurturing indigenous talent, whilst enhancing their skills and legal knowledge through intensive programmes and annual meetings.
